AR15 and AR10 style rifles.

 

As a Competitive Civilian Service Rifle shooter for many years, I’ve gradually arrived at what I consider to be the perfect AR15. Many gold, silver, and bronze medals at national level from Bisley, and also a British record, should give credence to the latter statement.

The heart of any good AR15, is a quality match barrel, with a good chamber. This not only ensures accuracy, but reliable extraction. Because without that, the gun is not going to be competitive.

 

I only use barrels, from Sassen in Birmingham, in either cut, or button rifled types, and also Bartlien cut rifled blanks. I also only chamber in .223 Wylde on an AR15.

This chamber will SAFELY handle both .223rem and 5.56 NATO ammunition. I do not, fit pre chambered barrels from either Europe, or America. They were not chambered to run as a straight pull, and usually give extraction problems. I simply prefer a good quality barrel, chambered by myself... I know that works. Upper/lower receivers are usually American, and have to accept my side charger conversion. My own muzzle brakes, and a wide choice of Magpul furniture.

 

What you will get , is a rifle that has everything you need for CSR/Practical, with nothing bolted on , that you don’t. My rifles are not covered in silly slogans/letters that mean nothing. That doesn’t win matches. Quality components and skilled gunsmithing does.

 

I also build AR10 type rifles.

Basically these are larger actioned AR15’s , designed to run the .308 sized case.

The latest development is the .224 Valkyrie cartridge for the AR15. I didn’t design it, the Americans did, but I’m proud to say , I built the very first one in the uk, and worked with the Birmingham Proof House to tailor a proof round for it. It’s been a long journey, but I’ve got there, and can offer this caliber also. Having owned/shot all the various cartridges the AR15 can handle, this one trumps the lot. Enquire for details.
