Muzzle brakes
These come in all shapes and sizes, some good, some not so.
Over the years I’ve tested many designs, and come up with a few of my own, using existing designs, but modified by myself to improve them. These designs are then made for my on CNC machinery.
Brakes usually fall into two categories, timed, and untimed. All side venting brakes need to be fitted by myself, so the side ports finish up level.
The pepperpot style does not need timing, as the holes are completely radial, and it vents in 360 degrees.
I sell the Accuracy international brake, which is very good, and also accepts their sound moderator over it.
All my own brakes are caliber specific, and available in a range of standard thread sizes.
Custom bolt knobs
Nothing makes a bolt faster to operate at speed, than an extended, and larger bolt handle.
These are usually the teardrop style, and threaded onto the bolt shaft.
Available for Remington, Sako, Tikka, Browning, Howa, Weatherby, Winchester, and various other makes.
Custom, one –off knobs, made to your specification, are also available. Prices on request.
Detachable Magazine Floorplates
Another very common job, I get asked for a lot.
It basically involves machining out the stock, and then bedding in a floorplate to accept magazines. Into which goes the magazine of your choice. The industry standard being the Accuracy International units.
I have floorplates to fit;
Remington 700 in short and long action.
Tikka T3 in both short and long action [the actions are all long action, but the floorplates differ, according to caliber ]
Tikka 590/595
Howa
Rifles which use Remington footprint can also be fitted with these floorplates, which is basically all the custom actions out there !
There are very few cartridges I cannot make mag feed, even the little ones such as PPC, BR, Valkyrie etc. Please call for advice.
Sound Moderators
I supply, and fit moderators from ASE, such as the Jet-z and SL models. Also moderators from A-Tec and Wildcat.
Please phone for further details. fitting to what I consider to be a sub standard thread. Many "factory threads " are substandard in the UK. Most are not to specification or not square to the bore. True factory threads are usually fine.
Triggers SPRINGS
Aftermarket springs that fit the Tikka T3 , 595/695 , sako 75 , quad, and basically any model of these guns that has the front adjustment screw [ arrowed ]Simple to fit, simply remove the screw arrowed and replace the old spring on its guide with the new. Pull weight can go as low as 12oz safely with the screw fully out.
The Rifle MUST be bump tested, and the bolt rammed home hard several times to test the safety of the trigger. If it drops at all , then the screw MUST be screwed further in to make the pull heavier/safe.
If in any doubt about fitting, consult a professional gunsmith.
NO responsibility will be taken by Valkyrie rifles for the safety of a rifle , fitted with an aftermarket spring, unless by myself.
